About the "Cab Ban This Dragon" Artwork: In 1988, Powell-Peralta ran an "Artist Wanted" advertisement in TWS and Thrasher magazines. The contest winner, Sean Cliver, was selected largely due to his illustration style closely resembling that of VCJ. Cliver's first deck design, the Barbee Ragdoll, was a departure from the traditional VCJ look. However, when it came time to update the Caballero dragon, Sean emulated the master's style.

At some point later, the graphic featuring the Caballero dragon became known as the "Cab Ban This" dragon, as it was prominently featured in that video, particularly in a slow-motion sequence.
