About the "Cab Ban This Dragon" Artwork: In 1988, Powell-Peralta ran an "Artist Wanted" advertisement in TWS and Thrasher magazines, with the winner securing a job in the Powell-Peralta art department in Santa Barbara. The selected artist was Sean Cliver, whose illustration style closely resembled that of the renowned VCJ. Cliver's first deck design, the Barbee Ragdoll, was a departure from the traditional VCJ look, but when it came time to update the Caballero dragon, Sean emulated the master's style.

Reportedly, at some point later, the graphic featuring the Caballero dragon was dubbed the "Cab Ban This" Dragon, as it was prominently featured in the corresponding video (known for its slow-motion sequence).
